What do the Friends do?
We are book lovers who support our library by giving books a second life through used books sales, donations and consignment. The money received is used by the library to buy more books (yay!) and fund library programs. Our vision is to build a community of library advocates to enhance the Cozby Library and Community Commons experience.

Dues and contributions to the Friends of the Coppell Public Library are tax deductible. The Friends of the Coppell Public Library is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

Celebrate 50 years of books, services, entertainment, and programs! We have 50th Anniversary fun planned for the whole year: monthly exhibits featuring the library’s history including popular books and past programs, activities, and giveaways! A special thanks to The Friends of the Coppell Public Library for helping sponsor these events.

Our Purpose
The purpose of the Friends of the Coppell Public Library shall be to maintain an organization of persons interested in libraries, to focus public attention on the library, to stimulate the use of the library’s resources and services, to receive and encourage grants, gifts, endowments and bequests to the library, to support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities for the community, and to support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights.
